If you don't like the metallic undertones that commercial baking powder has then why not start making your own. Its very simple.
1/4 cup cream of tarter
2 Tbs baking soda
Sift ingredients together 3 times. Place in air tight jar and store up to 6 weeks.
I had NO IDEA you can do this!! Awesome!! And we use it fast enough to not worry about going bad...
